The sculpture was fabricated on-site from woven flexible glass sections. These 6-meter-long "textiles" were shipped flat to the site and then sculpted in situ, pulled into their final undulating forms using the cable network. The fundamental flexibility of its construction allowed for an unusual degree of coordination with the space and its architecture, enabling the sculpture to wrap closely around columns and achieve forms that would be otherwise difficult at this scale and with these logistical constraints. The finished artwork is composed of approximately 60,000 individual glass tubes and nearly 10 kilometers of steel cable.
