This installation was coordinated with the architecture in a holistic design process. The sculpture's circular form was derived from the dome's oculus, and the ceiling's radial pattern was rendered with anodized aluminum tubing to echo the sculpture's construction.

This installation introduced a new flexible glass system to effectively "sculpt" glass at room temperature and on site. The matrix, with its thousands of joints, allowed for the construction of flexible and continuous glass elements larger than those possible with rigid, kiln-formed constructions.
